STEM MASTERS

To showcase the skills in terms of challenging student’s cognitive abilities, the STEM Society conducted STEM Masters: Quest of Triumphant Intellect held last February 12, 2024, at the Campus Lobby. The event  was packed with various mind tickling activities, which included Poster Making, Quiz Bee, Rubik's Cube contest, and the AeroCraft competition. 

The event started with the opening remarks by Dr. Catherine Camposano (Senior High School Principal). It was then followed by the announcement of the Poster Making Competition, in which Ms. Denzel B. Kamatoy was declared as the champion. 

The event continued to level up as the Quiz Bee competition started. Groups go head-to-head to answer questions at a limited amount of time. First place was given to the Airbus team, followed by Cayley (Second Place), then Lilienthal (Third Place). 

The fun does not stop there as the Rubik’s Cube Competition commenced. The crowd cheered for Mr. Mharc Paul D. Peng because of his outstanding ability to finish a rubik's cube within 29.69 seconds. Behind him was Yuan Miguel G. Ramirez (Second Place) and John Florence Billie B. Vargas (Third Place). 

The last event was the AeroCraft competition, which deals with designing and being able to create an aircraft using popsicle sticks. Section Wright’s man-made aircraft was declared as first place, followed by Section Boeing in second place, and both Section Cayley and Lilienthal in third place.
