ENSCIMAT 2024

In the PATTS Audio Visual Room, representatives from the Engineering Programs gathered to witness the intellectual abilities of nine teams from Pre-Engineering, BS Industrial Engineering, and BS Aeronautical Engineering during the competitive ENSCIMAT Engineering Quiz Bee 2024 held on February 28, 2024. 

Each representative bared their flags as they answered questions across Easy, Average, and Difficult rounds. These questions covered a wide range of topics including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and General Sciences, Allied Engineering Subjects, and Applied Engineering such as Economics and Theory of Flight.

Group 4, consisting of Jay Nelson Panganiban, Danielle Wyne Rivera, and Kyle Michael Rocero (BSAeE), claimed the 1st place title after winning a tie-breaker question against Group 1, consisting of Kyle Russel B. Catoto, Michael Collado, and Mark Jecel Saluta (BSAeE), who secured 2nd place. In 3rd place was Juan Paolo V. Billones, Brendan S. Casamar, and Lisandro V. Magana (BSIE).

Engr. Joy Cosme G. Amores (VP for Academic Affairs and Head of Mathematics Department), Engr. Hilbert D. Temporosa (Head of Basic Engineering Sciences Department), and Engr. Editha E. Domingo (Head of the Natural Science Department) served as the panel of judges, ensuring the credibility of questions and the contestants’ answers.
