WE GATSCHA!

BS Air Transportation General Assembly

Plunged into the pulsating world of neon nights, where the sky was not the limit, it was, indeed, a night where dreams took flight, as the BS Air Transportation program ascended into its General Assembly 2024. Set against the backdrop of A.R. Valdez Hall on April 4, 2024, the stage was illuminated with vibrant hues of ambition and camaraderie. It was a journey into the stratosphere of possibilities, where aspirations set off, and destinies awaited their rise.

The event kicked off as Mr. Nigel A. Hidalgo (Guild of Air Transportation Students Adviser) warmly welcomed the participants. Among the notable figures present were Engr. Jose Eduardo S. Valdez (College President and COO),  Atty. Anna Katrina V. Cruz (VP for Administrative Affairs), Dr. Emelita I. Javier (VP for Student Affairs), and Engr. Joy Cosme G. Amores (VP for Academic Affairs). The halls were adorned with beautiful decorations, complementing the dazzling outfits worn by the students, perfectly matching the theme of Neon Nights Electric Euphoria. Former officers of GATS were also in attendance; former President Mr. Franz Luigi Soriano left the students with an inspiring quote saying, “The Lord will make it happen, you will make it happen.” Ms. Kayla Robles, another former GATS officer, shared her favorite saying, “Malayo pa, pero malayo na,” reminding the students that they are already halfway there and encouraging them to persevere in achieving their dreams.

A gathering is not complete without a much-anticipated performance. During the culminating moments of the assembly, DJ Ash showcased his best tracks, while the local OPM band, Calein, played their music to the participants. The beat of the drums, the melodic strumming of guitars, and the captivating vocals echoed throughout the hall as they performed the band's greatest hits, including Oras and Umaasa, allowing the students to immerse themselves in the experience fully.

They navigated through the peaks and valleys of their musical journey with a passion that unified the organization. Their shared quote, “One Team, One Dream, United AirTrans” resonated in the hearts of all.
