BOOTHS AND BAZAAR 2024

The Enchanted Carnival

Every year, one of the highly anticipated events during the celebration of PATTS’ Founding Anniversary is the Booths and Bazaars (BAB).  This year, the PATTS Student Council infused the iconic event with magic under the theme, “Flight to Emerald Heights.”  The Booths and Bazaars 2024 was held last March 14 and 15, 2024 at the Open Volleyball Court.

The opening of this year’s BAB was a delight to everyone as it involved a lively circus parade, resonating drum beats, and the exciting unveiling of booths from various program-oriented and special interest organizations. Mr. Rainielle Marasigan (President of the PATTS Student Council) officially opened the event. Dr. Emelita I. Javier (VP for Student Affairs) honored the occasion with her presence, joined by other faculty and non-faculty members of the institution, all gathered to witness the event’s inauguration.

The BAB is enhanced by the presence and performance of a special guest.  This year, the organizers invited the rising internet personality, Yasmin “Kween” Asistido. She gained popularity for her vibrant energy and distinct talents, including singing, dancing, and more recently, her skill in spoken poetry.

Kween Yasmin delighted the audience with a showcase of her talents.  She treated everyone to her rendition of “A Million Dreams” from the movie The Greatest Showman. She also did a couple of impromptu spoken poetry pieces, which definitely gave the audience chills and laughter.  She then concluded her performance with a dance number and gave away souvenirs to the crowd.

On the event’s second day, spectacular performances from various student organizations, coupled with the Angel of the Booth Costume presentation, entertained the attendees as they explored booths, shopped and dined. The day concluded with an awarding ceremony honoring winners from previous academic competitions and sporting events, followed by the eagerly anticipated grand raffle for this year’s Salipawpaw 2024. This part of the program was graced by the presence of Engr. Jose Eduardo S. Valdez (College President and COO), Atty. Anna Katrina V. Cruz (Board Director and VP for Administrative Affairs), Dr. Emelita I. Javier (VP for Student Affairs), and Engr. Joy Cosme G. Amores Jr. (VP for Academic Affairs).

The conclusion of the Booths and Bazaar left PATTSeans with cherished and joyful memories. Such events provide students with a much-needed respite, allowing them to momentarily escape the pressures of academic stress.
