Mr. Madrigal shared his journey from studying chemistry to becoming the CEO of Pair Cargo. He emphasized the importance of sticking with jobs that interest you and not giving up, despite facing challenges along the way. Starting with unrelated jobs after college, he eventually found success in the aviation industry, first at Lufthansa and then at Japan Airlines. Reflecting on the challenges he faced, Mr. Madrigal emphasized the need to remain dedicated, stating, “Hindi siya madali, pero dahil may dedikasyon ako sa trabaho, lahat ng hirap kailangan daanan.” Through his experiences, he not only gained valuable knowledge but also forged meaningful relationships. His key message was clear: if you have dreams, keep going, - no matter how tough it gets.
The PATTS Community was then treated to a surprise performance by Capt. Kenn Jhorge Agustine T. Ponferrada, a faculty member of the BS Air Transportation Department and the reigning champion of the Talentadong Prof Competition held in December 2023.
The event wrapped up with excitement as the highly anticipated opening day raffle began, offering the chance for 8 lucky winners to claim a prize of P10,000 each. The crowd erupted into cheers as names were drawn one by one, filling the gymnasium with enthusiasm and anticipation.
As cheers echoed silently, the spirit of achievement lingered in the air, reminding everyone of the collective efforts that have propelled PATTS College of Aeronautics forward over the past five decades - Salipawpaw 2024 is not just a celebration but also a reminder of the institution's goal to inspire and improve the aviation industry.
