SHS ORIENTATION

During an exhilarating orientation day on August 9, 2023, the Senior High School (SHS) students of PATTS set sail for the world of higher education at the Audio Visual Room (AVR).  The impassioned speech of our College President and COO, Engr. Jose Eduardo S. Valdez, set the tone urging students to "[...] begin with an end in mind." His words resounded strongly, emphasizing the significance of charting their future course.

The SHS Faculty Department was then introduced, presenting the devoted teachers who would guide the students throughout their academic journey. After the introduction, the PATTS Senior High School Council (PSHC) stepped into the spotlight. The students were then provided with a brief overview of PATTS' illustrious history and its admirable goals. Students were attentive and engaged as they learned about the administrative departments responsible for upholding the school policies.

A subsequent open forum gave students the opportunity to voice out their concerns directly to school administrators, fostering a sense of openness and approachability. When they were given a sneak peek of their future PATTSean existence, complete with a meticulously laid out schedule of upcoming events and a tantalizing list of potential rewards for outstanding performance, their excitement reached its peak.

A senior high school band entertained the students with an electrifying performance prior to their departure. Within the hallowed walls of the AVR, the enchanting melodies of Original Pinoy Music (OPM) hits such as "Yakap sa Dilim" by Orange and Lemons and "Jopay" by Mayonnaise reverberated, setting the tone for a memorable day.

A captivating campus tour served as the culmination of the orientation, allowing newcomers to become acquainted with their new home for the upcoming years. As they explored the well-designed shops and laboratories, they could not help but feel closer to achieving their aviation industry ambitions.
