Airlines, manufacturers, and regulatory bodies work together to push the boundaries of what is possible in aviation. In a presentation made by Airbus, they have discussed their goal in fuel efficiency and its long-term industry viability. They aim to achieve that by the year 2050, Airbus will have zero carbon emissions. Sustainability has become a key focus in the aviation sector.

The collaboration of Airbus with PATTS seeks to bridge the gap between academia and industry within the aerospace sector. It serves as a catalyst for innovation, knowledge-exchange, and the development of solutions in the realm of aviation and aerospace.
