PATTS Continues its Greatness

CAAP Article

Since 1969, PATTS College of Aeronautics has been carrying on the tradition of its predecessors. During the annual inspection of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) that took place on November 8 and 9, 2022, PATTS showed its value as one of the best aviation institutions in the Philippines.

The CAAP Inspection is in compliance with the Philippine Civil Aviation Regulations (PCAR), Series of 2008 for the granting of Approved Training Organization Certificates for Maintenance Schools. This is to ensure that PATTS as a Maintenance School,  and one of the  Approved Training Organizations (ATOs) in the Philippines, complies with the enhanced and efficiency program

CAAP’s Airworthiness Inspectors, Mr. Paul Andrew Caabay and Mr. Edwardo Ebasco, were welcomed by our College Officials, Engr. Joy Cosme G. Amores Jr. (VP for Academic Affairs) and Dr. Emelita I. Javier (VP for Student Affairs), together with the Program Chairpersons of the Technical Programs, Key Personnel and Technical Instructors. The comprehensive audit involved inspections of the ATO Manual, Record System, Personnel and ATO Approvals and Capability, ATO Quality Assurance and Safety Management System, Facilities and Equipment, Program Curriculum and Training Courseware, Processes, and Methods.  They also observed and evaluated teaching demonstrations by technical instructors, and had a discussion with the Program Chairpersons of the technical programs.

PATTS offers vital programs equipped with up-to-date curricula and facilities to its students to sharpen their abilities, knowledge and skills in preparation for a career in the aviation industry. Indeed, the effectiveness of an institution is not only evident in the people it educates but also in the atmosphere in which those students are immersed - and PATTS College of Aeronautics has it all.
