The much-awaited academic year for all learners is about to commence and the young students of PATTS’ partnered community are all looking forward to the resumption of face-to-face classes. In this connection, SOCI Project Head and Ambassadress for Quality Education, Ms. Ronie Bautista, spearheaded a program for San Isidro Elementary School’s (SIES) “Brigada Eskwela 2022: Tugon sa Hamon Ligas na Balik Aral”.

The said program was a collaborative work of various organizations namely, the Aeronautical Engineering Research Organization (AERO), Airline Business Administration Society (ABASOC), Guild of Air Transportation Students (GATS), Society of PATTS Industrial Engineering Students (SPIES), PATTS Achievers League (PAL), Red Cross Youth Council of PATTS (RCYCP), Rotaract Club of Parañaque Poblacion - PATTS, and the Social Science Society (SSS).

Held on August 12, 2022, the “PATTSkwelahan Project: For Da Clean Up” took place in SIES where several volunteers per organization worked hand-in-hand to do clean-up activities to ensure a healthier environment for the students. They swept and mopped the floors, painted the walls, organized files, brought arm chairs from one floor to another, and a lot more. The project aimed to help prepare SIES for the opening of classes by making the school’s environment more conducive to learning. .

The PATTsean community were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Veronica Francisco (SIES Principal), Ms. Jennifer Lucille Abadiano (Brigada Coordinator), Mr. Tommy Miones (Property Custodian), and other staff and faculty members of PATTS’ partner school.

To continue the generosity of the project, the “PATTSkwelahan Project: For da Donation” was initiated by the Social Orientation and Community Involvement (SOCI) Office to intensify the true meaning of Brigada Eskwela. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held last August 24, 2022 at the PATTS Lobby to officially open the donation drive. Donation boxes were then distributed and placed in several areas in the campus for the different unused school supplies and other forms of donations from the PATTS Community.
