Did somebody say Glamour? The BS Airline Business Administration (BS ABA) students made the evening their runway as they celebrated their 37th anniversary with an event entitled “Blissful Paradise: Memories Beyond Time'' last February 21, 2023 at The Chairman’s Penthouse. The hosts ramped up the room with their radiating energies, entertaining lines, and exceptional audience interaction. The allure did not stop with the outfits and vitality – the ambiance itself was a treat to the eyes, like a setting straight from a party scene in a Netflix teen series. 

The guest speakers, who were also proudly PATTS BS ABA alumni, Mr. Xavier Raguindin and Ms. Jaimieces De Lara, stole the spotlight  with their inspiring speeches and stories that opened the eyes of our very own BS ABA students about the many opportunities that await their future career. Humility was very evident in their stories as they each shared their experiences from the beginning as Freshman students up to the time that they obtained their current careers. What was common in their flight was the fiery urge to thrive out in the world, to improve oneself in order to achieve their goals, and to stay grounded and thankful for whatever comes along the way - truly, an embodiment of the verse, “Everything will fall into place.” 

The assembly continued with the poster presentations, trailers and grand performances by the groups AirAsia and Norwegian Group. Of course, the assembly will not be complete without the exciting games and the most awaited pageant, where the contestants displayed their true charisma, talents and uniqueness. After a short dinner delight and a quick catch-up with the audience, the organizers started announcing the winners. AirAsia swept the awards for Best Poster Advertisement, Promotional Video, and Grand Performance. Ms. Isabelle Joyce C. Taguinod was then crowned Ms. ABA 2022 and Mr. Francis Ace John M. Espinosa was crowned Mr. ABA 2022. Also, they both won Mr. and Ms. Quick-Wittedness for their exceptional answers in the Q&A portion. 

BS ABA Student Council Representative, Ms. Ronie C. Bautista, closed the event with a prompt speech, sharing how the event showed camaraderie and the true epitome of unity in BS ABA. The night ended with bright smiles and beaming poses for the picture-taking. Indeed, a night of felicity – a night where memories  were looked back on, a night where memories were made.
