RECRUITMENT WEEK 2023

The ground floor lobby came alive with a rumbling rhythm as the PATTS Royal Cavalry's drums welcomed everyone to the opening of Recruitment Week 2023 on August 29, 2023. It was the most awaited time in the first semester where various organizations opened their doors to a new set of recruits. Students sought groups and places where they could belong, with people working together to build a second family within the heart of this institution.

The program began with the introduction of various organizations, starting with Program-Oriented Organizations (POO), followed by Special-interest Organizations (SIO), and lastly, the Senior High School Student Organizations. Each group showcased its unique identity and purpose following the theme, "Legacies Unearthed: Embarking on a Journey Through Time," drawing the attention of potential recruits.

Emotions ran high as Engr. Jose Eduardo S. Valdez (College President and COO), shared a heartfelt story about his son's struggle during the pandemic. "Take the opportunity to join [organizations] kasi wala ito [noong] online class," he emphasized. It gave the students a chance to engage, contribute to society, and be a part of something meaningful.

After the inspiring speech, it was time for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. It was led by Engr. Valdez, alongside Atty. Anna Katrina V. Cruz (Board Trustee and VP for Administrative Affairs), Engr. Joy Cosme G. Amores Jr. (VP for Academic Affairs), Dr. Emelita I. Javier (VP for Student Affairs), and Mr. Ranielle Marasigan (President - PATTS Student Council).

The closing and awarding ceremony marked the end of the event last September 8, 2023.  PATTS Dance Company (PDC) put on a remarkable intermission that captivated the audience. As the awards were handed out, swashbuckling smiles were visible on every student who had shed tears and endured sleepless nights just to give their all for their organization and the student body.
