FRESHMEN AND TRANSFEREES ORIENTATION

The Aeronautical Engineering Research Organization (AERO) and the Society of PATTS Industrial Engineering Students (SPIES) gathered all freshmen and transferees on August 26, 2023 at the PATTS Audio Visual Room (AVR) to welcome the new students who will be entering the BS Aeronautical Engineering (BS AeroE), and BS Industrial Engineering (BS IE) programs.

The anticipation in the air was palpable as the organizing committee, led by Mr. Kyle Russel B. Catoto (AERO President - Project Head), set the stage for an enlightening orientation session. As the event unfolded, it became clear that the orientation had been meticulously designed to provide invaluable insights into the Aeronautical Engineering and Industrial Engineering programs of the institution. The guest speakers, Engr. Christelleih Jones M. Santos (Alumna - BS AeroE program) and Mr. Chevy F. Cantua (Alumnus - BS IE program), captivated the audience with their compelling stories and shared the profound experiences that had shaped their professional journeys. 

Engr. Santos, a beacon of accomplishment in the field, illuminated the path to success in Aeronautical Engineering, while Mr. Cantua, equally accomplished in the realm of Industrial Engineering, painted a vivid picture of the opportunities awaiting young talents. The event was graced by the presence of Engr. Dennis S. Desolo, MEAM (Program Chairperson - BS Aeronautical Engineering). These esteemed individuals took center stage to elucidate the intricacies of the program, providing clarity and insights to the eager freshmen and transferees in attendance.

The orientation showcased the organizing committee's dedication and AERO's commitment to nurturing the next generation of Aeronautical and Industrial engineers. It provided a glimpse into a journey promising academic excellence and transformative experiences that shape future careers.
