CAREER FAIR 2023

Black suits were worn and resumes in folders were in the hands of the jobseekers, while the desire to land a career was visibly sparkling in their eyes. Just as a mechanic thoroughly inspects even the little things, and just as a pilot meticulously plans every detail of a flight, participants of this PATTS Career Fair 2023 prepared themselves to navigate the skies of opportunities. On June 23, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the Chairman’s Penthouse turned into a bustling runway of careers.

The pre-program phase at 8:40 AM set the tone, serving as an initial reminder to attendees, guests, and industry partners to gear up for the forthcoming exhilarating journey. Engr. Joy Cosme G. Amores Jr. (VP for Academic Affairs) delivered a motivational speech that acted as the flight plan for the career fair. His words inspired participants, directing them toward their employment goals. Dr. Emelita I. Javier (VP for Student Affairs) opened the career fair for takeoff, mirroring the moment an aircraft leaves the runway. This gave tickets to the jobseekers to explore and interact with companies, just as passengers embark on their chosen destinations.

There were a total of 16 companies in the fair namely: The HR International, F2 Logistics, PTC Aviation Training Center Inc., Global Virtuoso, Inc., AAI Worldwide Logistics, Lufthansa Technik Philippines, 1 Aviation Ground Handling Services, Corp., SIA Engineering (Philippines) Corporation, Alpha Aviation Group, Aviation Partnership Philippines Corp., Dornier Technology, International Airline Services, Rajah Travel, All Transport Network, First Aviation Academy, and Delta Air, with Pru Life UK as company sponsor. These companies were carefully chosen by the event organizers to help every jobseeker find the best one, where their abilities, capabilities, and skills won't just stay in the box of stagnation.

The PATTS Career Fair 2023 entitled, "Empyreal: Elevating to New Heights," symbolizes the complex trajectory of individuals as they venture into the realm of professional pathways. The event in question is not merely a fair, but rather a transformative journey towards uncharted territories, where individuals assume the role of navigators of their own futures. 

Upon the culmination of the event, attendees depart with newfound connections and prospects, poised to advance their endeavors within the realm of aviation and beyond. Ms. Mary Elise Balasta (Project Head) shared a quote that flows through the veins of PATTSeans: “The aviation industry is waiting for us. We are one step closer to our professional phase; as PATTSeans, we shall continue to navigate.”
