To mark their third year of giving joy, the Airline Business Administration Society (ABASOC) in partnership with the Social Orientation and Community Involvement Office (SOCI), launched a fund-raising activity entitled, “PATTSkong Pilipino Sama-Sama Tayo”. Who would have thought that despite the struggles of the pandemic, ABA would still be able to extend their donation drive for selected 4th Grade Students of San Isidro Elementary School last December 18, 2021.

The event came to a start as Dr. Alma A. Tan, BS ABA Chairperson, presented her opening remarks and the event objectives saying that it all started in 2019 when they aim to spread joy during the Christmas season. It was then followed by a video presentation about the milestones of how this event went each year.

Christmas Carols became the heart of the program as Christmas songs were performed. The comment section of their Facebook Page during the Livestream burst with everyone’s support and excitement. Songs from ABA groups namely The Ho’s and the Bros, 1M Carols, The Joy Givers, and The Parampapums gave their all in every cover song they showcased. ABA Alumni also made their way to the stage with an amazing performance of “Pasko Na Sinta Ko.” Of course, the BS ABA scholars also participated in singing carols, followed by the ABASOC Officers.

The event ended with ABASOC President’s grateful message. Ms. Allyssa Marinel Allanza believed that everyone who participated was, indeed, a part of their journey in spreading joy and hopes that this tradition continues in the years to come.
