PATTS
Tracks Oldest Alumni |
When Federico Antiporda Collado and
Rolando Canamague Lacap enrolled in the year 1971 in the
then two-year-old PATS School of Aeronautics, now PATTS
College of Aeronautics, little did they think that 40
years later in anticipation of their Alma Mater’s
40th Foundation Year in 2009, they would be the objects
of a global search for the College’s oldest alumni.
Born on 5 Feb. 1952, F.A. Collado of
Bacoor, Cavite enrolled in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
and graduated in 1971. Today, he is a Senior Aircraft
Mechanic of Lufthansa Technik Phils.
R.C. Lacap, born on Jan 1, 1950 and a
resident of Las Piñas City, also took up Aircraft
Maintenance Engineering. Presently, he is an Aircraft
Structure Technician of Saudia Airlines.
Both will be proclaimed as PATTS Oldest
Alumni next month, when PATTS commences its year-long
celebration for its 40th Foundation year with a Grand
Alumni Homecoming dubbed as the “Return of the Seahorses,”
at the PATTS Gymnasium, Lombos Avenue, San Isidro, Parañaque
City. The Homecoming event will be the largest gathering
of PATTS alumni and friends with special participation
from PATTS key officials led by the College President
and COO, Ms. Ma. Felisa S. Valdez and the academe.
Meanwhile, preparations are going on
full-blast for next year’s Ruby Foundation Anniversary
celebration. All these are in support of PATTS’
vision to be the Center of Excellence in Aviation Education
in the Philippines and its Mission to provide quality
but affordable Aviation Education and to assist the graduates
in the labor market. Predictably, the future is definitely
shining brighter and more promising for PATTS’ thousands
of successful graduates, as Federico Collado and Rolando
Lacap, would undisputedly attest to.
The College invites PATTS Alumni to register
his/her details at www.patts.edu.ph. Four I-Pods will
be given away in an electronic raffle within the ongoing
registration promo period until August 23. Additional
information may be obtained from 825-8823 or alumni@patts.edu.ph
